The Brass Monkey is an Antipodean-style sports bar that manages to appeal to almost everyone.
With excellent screens and sound they are usually packed for any major sports event(check out the World Cup queue pics on their website!) providing a great atmosphere.
They also host some of the best Halloween, NYE and St.Patrick's Day parties in town. Then there is their flagship Thursday Ladies Night,which has been an institution for quite some time now on the Taipei social calender.With great music,free drinks and cheap shots,everyone scores!
Other nights include Salsa Nights on Tuesdays and Pub Quiz on Wednesdays,and the rest of the week it's a great place to have some relaxed beers or a meal. Check their site for updated info as it might be subject to change.
