Club “Myst” is definitely a club to visit. Finding it could be a problem though. It’s like a labyrinth inside the ATT building. Finding a bathroom inside the ATT building is hard enough. Once you actually find your way around the side of the building to the elevators that take you up, you will be amazed. Once those elevator doors open and the music fills the elevator with music, you are in the perfect clubbing atmosphere. The first area you walk into is the techno/house room with tables all around the side with a view of Taipei city. Of course, there is a bar to your right. If techno/house is not what you’re looking for, then there is the hip-hop room. The giant waterfall was the first thing that caught my eye. It’s definitely different. Even the bathroom blew me away. Apart from the amazing clubbing atmosphere, I personally feel that the bar needs to hire some actual bartenders or just someone with half a brain cell. Walking up to the bar, I asked the bartender to make me 4 Jägerbombs. He immediately pulled out 4 tall glasses and filled them with ice. As soon as I saw this, I said “woah woah woah, wait a minute. I want 4 Jägerbombs. How am I supposed to drop shot glasses into a tall glass, or even drop a shot glass into a glass filled with ice?” He looked at me, and then asked whiskey glass? So then I assumed everything would be smooth from there. He then poured the Jägermeister into the whiskey glass first. This was when I face palmed and died a little on the inside. How are you a bartender if you don’t even know what a freaking Jägerbomb is? So I decided to let it slide. He then poured in the red bull so I was about to take it back to my table of friends. To put the icing on the cake, he then proceeded to ask me, before I grabbed my glasses, would you like some lime with that? What… Did I hear everything right? Did I want some lime with my Jägerbomb? Hell no! This however, wasn’t the only thing the bartenders screwed up. I asked for a gin and tonic, and they gave me lemonade with gin. At this point, I lost ALL hope for purchasing alcohol at club Myst. Other than the terrible bartending, my general impression was pretty good. Club Myst, if I could give you a suggestion, make sure your bartenders know their stuff.
