Description

The Brass Monkey is an Antipodean-style sports bar that manages to appeal to almost everyone.
With excellent screens and sound they are usually packed for any major sports event(check out the World Cup queue pics on their website!) providing a great atmosphere.

They also host some of the best Halloween, NYE and St.Patrick's Day parties in town. Then there is their flagship Thursday Ladies Night,which has been an institution for quite some time now on the Taipei social calender.With great music,free drinks and cheap shots,everyone scores!
Other nights include Salsa Nights on Tuesdays and Pub Quiz on Wednesdays,and the rest of the week it's a great place to have some relaxed beers or a meal. Check their site for updated info as it might be subject to change.

The Brass Monkey also has a great menu as well as foosball table and pool table, so be sure to try it!

Jialie Damn, it was hilarious tonight. There was some drunk woman at the end of the night who refused to pay her bill, and was screaming swear words at people :D They finally called the police on her and even 4 policemen around her couldn't do anything! Stood there for probably half an hour. Guess it just shows Taiwan's police are pushovers. God I love this place.
