Description

Luxy is a happening and luxurious club, frequented by locals and foreigners alike. It is often viewed as the go-to club in Taipei for exciting atmosphere and hot people. It has three main areas, a hip hop room, an electronic/trance room, and a more lounge-type room. It takes up two floors (the 5th and the 6th), has two private elevators, three bars, and has an abundance of booths. Decorated with laser lights, and luxurious furniture, it creates an rich and modern feel.

Open on wednesday, friday, and saturday, Luxy often hosts big name people, and regularly has all sorts of events.

Luxy is a modern, oft frequented club in Taipei. Dazzingly lit and over decorated as is the want in Taiwan, Luxy's main appeal is their largest room, which is unsurprisingly dedicated to hip-hop. If you are able to pull yourself away from the overeager suitors and pre-2000s ghetto fashion however, you'll find the electronic/trance room. A secluded jewel amongst the sea of dolled up kids trying to look good while not dancing to 2 year old radio tunes, the smaller of the two dance floors boasts music that you'd actually like to dance to with space to actually do it in (assuming the genres are your cup of pearl milk tea). While I don't doubt that Luxy is a hit-or-miss kind of place, if you do fancy a night out on the town throwing shapes, there are much worse places than its electronic/trance room. Ps. If you enjoy yourself, the dj accepts tips paid in Redbull.

Guest it was alright. the crowd was not that much better than babe18. Only thing that makes luxy the better club is that the inside is WAY more classy looking, especially with the green lasers, mirrors, booths, curtains, and ultra clean bathrooms. The DJ was pretty okay too. *If you go, you must dance on stage, just because you can. go crazy.. just because you can.
