DJ In The News:
DJ Nina
Addicted to the "four four beat" and began her life as a vinyl junkie when residing in California, where she was inspired and fascinated by the underground music scene. The funky, jazzy, and tribal grooves that "west coast hous" was founded upon have also been the key elements in her dj sets.
After mastering the skills of mixing, Nina returned to Taipei in '01 with her eclectic vinyl collection and immediately launched into djing. She's not only played countless gigs all over Taiwan and alongside DJs such as Derrick Carter, DJ Mea and DJ @llen, DJ Victor..., but also been the only female Taiwanese DJ who's ever dj'ed in China (2005 Golden Week-Big Love Beach Music Festival in Zhu-Hi), and voted as Taiwan's favourite DJ by TAIPEI TIMES in 2004.
