5 Reasons to get to the Spring Break Bikini Scooter Wash this Saturday

2018-02-27

Brickyard, organizers of Taiwan’s biggest international beach festival, Spring Break on the Beach, are having some serious fun in the sun this Saturday to raise money and awareness for charity.

It is called the first Spring Break Bikini Scooter Wash春宴比基尼洗機.

Yes, you heard right.

Come on, we're talking about  Brickyard, in Kaohsiung, what did you expect?

Here are 5 very excellent reasons to get to Kaohsiung this Saturday and participate.

1.    It is for Charity!

All the money collected will be donated to amazing charities that work so hard  to help preserve and restore Taiwan’s  beaches and mountains.

While a bikini is optional, you might still be a bit skin shy after all those CNY banquets. If you prefer to stay dry and keep your kit on, then…

3.  Get Your Scooter Washed

(by people in bikinis)

Yes, scooters are needed to be washed or it's just a beach party in the street. So bring your two wheels (a bike or motorcycle will probably do too) in for a spring clean. There’s no official charge, but there will be buckets as collection points for donations.

Please show your appreciation and support with your wallet.

The participants will be using Rinsekits, tailor-made for outdoor activities. These smart showers only use a few gallons of water and are amazing.

4. Weather Forecast: Kaohsiung 1, Taipei 0

Imma  just gonna leave this here.

5.    Meet the Spring Break team!

Plenty of Spring Break on the Beach performers and team members are volunteering their time. They’re going to get soaked and soapy while they put some sparkle to your ride. Yes, there will be some ridiculously hot bodies dressed in tiny bikini’s.  Yes ladies, there should be a few mankini’s on display too.

If that’s your thing.

(yip, still doing Borat jokes 12 years later)

OK, so let’s recap.

Charity. Free tickets. A Clean Ride.  Great Weather. Hot bodies. Cool People.

Shit, that makes 6 reasons.

Anyways, let’s show up and support this great cause.

Taiwan Nights need You!

We need help to cover Taiwan's nightlife.

It's a lot of work to know what's where and when and then write about it.

If you'd like to be part of our small team and can contribute content, write reviews, edit events, review bars, clubs, restaurants and live music, take photo's, translate or help develop our website (Ruby on Rails/PHP), our platform is available to help build up your blog, portfolio and network.

We are also looking for residents in cities other than Taipei to act as scouts and area contributors for us.

If interested, please contact werner@taiwannights.com
