The Red Room is an ever-expanding community, exploring and extending the boundaries between audience and performer; a not-for-profit platform for events developing a culture of learning to listen to each other, what is around us, and our selves.“Through quiet hearts and deep listening, in a room filled with immense positive and creative energy, we discover our similarity. The biases and misunderstanding come from ignorance and fear. Red Room is a movement, reminding us that the deepest primordial human need is to feel connected and that in our infinite ignorance we are all equal. Since 2009, Red Room has become an important part of our lives and I hope more people will discover Red Room. We gather here to meet and share any thing we feel the need to: words of our own, the words of others, a sound, a song, a style, an experience, a gesture, a dance, silence. We meet to sit and listen, beyond language, to what is around us, to the one sharing. We also meet to be heard."Stage Time and Juice" is the the family-friendly version of the the same event, which is held on the third Saturday of every odd month, open to children and parents of all ages."Red Room Radio Redux" works more so on a sporadic schedule as part of the Red Room culture “dedicated to listening”, the RRRR mission is to bring the spoken word to a wide community using simple techniques of readers’ theater and radio drama."Aside" event occurs four times a year. This event delves into the theme of storytelling. The presenters have found inspiration and have in turn inspired others in their field of expertise. They practice the art of communication and creativity to spread the possibility of social change. At Aside, you will have the opportunity to experience their passion in a more intimate setting, and to engage in their work."A Nook for Rhyme Crooks" is the new Red Room event featuring the blend of spoken word, live-illustration and the art of rhyme story-telling. Set in between the realms of hip-hop and poetry, "Nook" focuses its roots on the concept of free perception of the mind, where the audience's imagination intertwines with spoken rhymes of color, trickery, and purpose.Travel by MRT［Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station Exit 6］Walk straight along XinSheng S.
