On Tap is the most popular English pub in Taipei, and as many might suggest, possibly the best in all of Taiwan. It is considered an institution by its legion of faithful regulars constantly lining up its counters.
Owned by two long-term expats and jolly Englishmen, you'll find On Tap heaving on most nights with foreigners and locals of all walks of life, old and young. The atmosphere is always pleasant, never threatening and is the perfect place to bring a date.
On Tap's intoxicating range of inported craft and draught beers, as well as home-made "fusion shots" are constantly updated under the expert eye of co-owner Jason David Lowe. If you're brave and/or stupid, ask for the Ghost Chilli Tequila.
If you like to play darts, join the Moosehead Darts League! On Tap caters strongly for sports fans, and be warned, you need to book a seat well in advance during any World Cup or big event.
